Edward Yaw Udzu, Esq. has over two decades of experience in the Ghanaian publishing industry, demonstrating his expertise inproduct development, market development, and increasing of market share.
As an operational Director of Allgoodbooks Limited, he ensured that preschool and primary education has materials that are bespoke for their curriculum.
He has worked in reputable organizations such as Unimax Macmillan Limited (Ghana) developing the southern sector market and Winmat Publishers (Ghana) overseeing the distribution of Educational books for the Ministry of Education of Liberia to over twenty-one(21) counties of that country. Edward Yaw Udzu, Esq. was a member of the Accra World Book Capital management team that crafted and won the bid that led to the designation of Ghana as the host of the World Book Capital 2023-2024 by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).
He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana with his specialty being the legal aspects of publishing (Copyright and Intellectual property).
He is a firm believer that education is the key to development. As a result, he continuously enriches himself with the acquisition of knowledge and experience in every task he undertakes.
Edward is the current vice president of the Ghana Publishers Association. He holds an LL. B, MSc in Marketing, Social and Organizational Research, BSc in Administration(Marketing option), and also holds a Professional Diploma in Marketing awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) Board Committee Legal and Licensing.
